  15. I thought I would follow-up on our recent phone conversation
  16. concerning Novell training for XYZ Corporation.

  18.     Become a CNE in 3 months
  19.  
  20. Did you know you are only five classes away from becoming a
  21. Novell Certified NetWare Engineer and joining the ranks of
  22. those hotly-sought after corporate system engineers?  We
  23. have found that our clientele (corporations and government
  24. agencies) have preferred to spread these five courses over
  25. about a three month period.  This is due to the time
  26. necessary for training and testing.

  29.     Novell Authorized Education Center
  30.  
  31. Training Access is one of the few Novell Authorized
  32. Education Centers in this region.  This is a very important
  33. matter to consider when deciding upon training providers,
  34. for the following reasons:

  36.     •    Our course materials are authorized by and obtained
  37.         from     Novell Corporation.
  38.  
  39.     •    Our instructors are Novell Certified NetWare
  40.         Instructors (CNI’s).
  41.  
  42.     •    Our training lab is set up according to the
  43.         standards required by Novell.  Our lab far exceeds
  44.         these standards and is considered by many to be the
  45.         premier training lab     in the area.

  48. Below are listed the recommended classes that currently
  49. prepare you for the required certification tests and the
  50. dates that Training Access will be holding these courses
  51. through March 1992.  The number indicated to the left of the
  52. course is the testing number.

  85. There are two additional tests for certification -
  86. MS-DOS/Micro Hardware Knowledge (50-15) and NetWare v2.15
  87. System Update (50-35).  We offer two Novell workbooks
  88. ($24.95 ea.) for the DOS/Micro test.  Materials concerning
  89. the latter test are available during any of the other
  90. classes. (Also see “Testing” below)

  93. Of course, you may take any of these classes without going
  94. through to completion of the entire CNE block.  Also, should
  95. you have a number of people all wishing to take the same
  96. class, please contact me for a group quote, as I am able to
  97. offer your company special pricing.

  101.  
  102. We are a Drake Authorized Testing Center.  Testing is
  103. scheduled through Drake Training & Technologies at (800)
  104. 446-9554.  The total of all seven tests is $490.

  109. Please see the enclosed “Certified NetWare Engineer”
  110. brochure for more information about the CNE Program.  No
  111. classes are necessary to become a CNE.  The only requirement
  112. is successfully passing the required tests.  However, Novell
  113. strongly suggests that prospective CNE’s without substantial
  114. NetWare backgrounds prepare for the tests by enrolling in
  115. Novell authorized training classes.

  118. courseware, Novell CBT’s, and also Novell’s MS-DOS and
